The schematic design for an additional fire engine bay was generated for a proposal to the Salina Fire Department in Salina, Kansas.
Inspired by the Art Deco Style of the original structure, but in contrast to the horizontality of its opposite wing, the facade for the addition plays with overlapping material planes perpendicularly.
